You’ll need a laptop to run the DJ software and a pair of headphones to listen to the music (laptop speakers are not good enough). External speakers are nice to have, but not essential when you’re just starting out.

I teach this course using the Traktor Z1 controller with Traktor Pro 4 because it’s the most affordable and beginner-friendly setup available. That’s why I recommend it for complete beginners who are taking their first steps into DJing. If you have the intention to grow beyond the fundamentals, the Traktor S2 is a great option as it offers more features for future expansion.

However, the theories and methods I teach are designed to be broadly applicable, not limited to any specific software or hardware so you're welcome to use any DJ controller that suits your preference. We provide extra modules for all the Rekordbox & Serato users.

The Fundamental Course is the fastest, simplest way to go from zero experience to playing your first Ecstatic Dance set using the Traktor Z1 controller. 

The Beginner Course is for those that want to become an Ecstatic Dance DJ. It uses the Traktor S2 controller and goes deeper into music selection, musical genres and more advanced transitions.
